Historically, Friends began worship in Pottstown in 1753. Land for the Meeting was a gift from John Potts, the founder of Pottstown. Over time, the Meeting dwindled in size until in 1935 it was laid down.
In 2002 Sandy Snyder and Henry Beck, members of Gwynedd Monthly Meeting, moved to Sanatoga and began to offer monthly worship in their home in 2006 under the care of Gwynedd Meeting.
In 2008 with the support of both Gwynedd and Exeter Monthly Meetings, the Pottstown Worship group moved its meeting location to Fellowship Farm and began to meet twice a month on the second and fourth First Days.
Upon the closure of Fellowship Farm, Pottstown Worship Group was warmly welcomed by Bethel Community Church and Congregation Mercy and Truth Synagogue to share their facility at 575 Keim St, Pottstown, PA 19464 in November 2016.
In February 2017 we began meeting on a weekly basis.
